The Danish Supreme Court ruled that the police could also confiscate leased cars due to “reckless driving”. A 57-year old banker was driving at 103 km/h in an area of 50 km/h with a car leased by his wife from a car rental company which also didn’t own the car. The owners of the car, Nordania Finans, sued the state without luck.
