Out of 6800 people that have been hired in 2022 within the Danish industry, 5300 have an international background, according to Dansk Metal. A wind turbine manufacturer from Give (Welcon) stated that without an international workforce they would have not been able to expand the factory and obtain an investment of 1 billion DKK. 80% of their new hires are international.
