The National Bank is preparing to mint coins with the King’s portrait (on 10 and 20 DKK) and the King’s monogram (on 1, 2, and 5 DKK). We should see the new coins in our hands by the end of the year (for those of us who still use coins, that is). The old coins will remain in circulation.
