Dr Bolette Søborg said whooping cough, influenza, and cases of the RS virus were also increasing – all known as seasonal diseases that often occur during autumn and winter. “The infection rate (of these diseases) has not reached its peak. For instance, flu often significantly rises between Christmas and New Year,” she told TV2, adding that risk groups should take their vaccination shots against influenza and Covid-19.
