Ageism in the trade unions


The European Union Court of Justice decided that the Danish trade unions cannot stop members of a certain age from beingcandidates for leadership positions. The ruling was made after a leader of the HK trade union (63 years old) complained that she was forced to step down due to reaching the age limit.
