Conflict between the Copenhagen City Council and the Business Minister

Why? A potential tourist tax in the capital, just like in other large EU cities. The City Council voted to look into the possibility of introducing a tourist tax. However, they need permission from the government to do so. The business minister already said “No” as Copenhagen needs to stay competitive in the tourism industry.
