The people in Denmark have a total debt of 152 billion DKK to the Danish state. For example, speeding fines, old SU loans and unpaid taxes. The chairman of the Danish State Auditors called for 10 billion DKK to be pardoned, as the people owing those money are unable to pay. Other tax experts consider that a higher amount (50 billion DKK) could be pardoned. The tax minister will consider the idea in the near future.
