Around 50,000 people in Denmark suffer from compulsive overeating. So far, the government has offered free treatment for them. However, from 2022, there is a good chance the free treatment will be discontinued. During the negotiations for the Finance Act 2022, Venstre (Liberal Party) and DF (Nationalist Party) will fight to maintain free treatment.
