The era of christian democracy led by Angela Merkel is over. The Social Democrats have won the elections (25,7%) and Olaf Scholz is most likely going to be the next chancellor of Germany. That is if he manages to create a ruling coalition with the Greens (14,8%) and the Liberals (11,5%), to have a majority in Bundestag.
