French presidential elections

-

The pro-European Emmanuel Macron has won the second round of the presidential elections with 58,5% of the votes. He will continue to be the president of France for another five years.

The French people are being called back to the polls two more times, on June 12 and 19, to elect the MPs who will sit in the National Assembly for the next five years. The 577 constituencies each represent a little over 100.000 people on average.
