For the first time in more than a year, the European Central Bank has decided not to further increase the interest rate. The interest rate remains at 4%. Since July 2022, the European Central Bank has increased the interest rate ten times.
- While the growth has stopped, there is no prospect that interest rates will be lowered in the near future. Economists from Nykredit and Arbejdernes Landsbank predict that interest rates will start falling in the summer of 2024.
