The Danish pharma company has dethroned the French luxury group (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) as Europe’s most valuable firm. LVMH has been the most valuable company for two and a half years. Novo Nordisk’s total worth is now about 400 billion euros. The company is more valuable than the entire yearly gross domestic product of Denmark. The reason behind the growth? Two drugs – one against diabetes (Ozempic) and one for weight loss (Wegovy).
