The end of burning religious books in public spaces

-

After much debate, the Parliament has passed the law that bans the burning of recognized religious books (Bible, Koran, Torah, f.ex.) in public spaces (that includes the online space like social media). The law also protects the religious scriptures of the 185 recognized denominations in Denmark from degrading treatment in public

  • Just as a reminder, there is also a law against burning the flag of another nation. It is punishable by prison for up to two years.
