Warning

-

In the past couple of months, the Russian cyber attacks against Europeans have increased significantly. You probably noticed that you started to get all sorts of strange messages about packages (that you never ordered), messages that pretended to be from official authorities – all to get you to click on a link that will give them access to your phone or computer.

  • The public authorities in Denmark will always contact you via e-Boks and not via SMS message (also not an email to your private address) that contains strange links.
  • See this video from SKAT on how to spot fake emails and SMSs.
  • As a citizen, it has become important to get a minimum of cyber education on how to reduce the chance for hackers to get control of your data and devices. Check online, there are many sources.
