Your redesigned gateway to life in Denmark

-

Perhaps you first heard about Last Week in Denmark through our weekly newsletter. Or maybe through our award-winning podcast or our popular LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook, channels. There’s a whole LWID universe to explore and we’ve made it easier to access it all with our redesigned website

Created by standout UX designer Elitsa Mineva, the easy-to-navigate design introduces new categories to help you Navigate Denmark and spotlights our original reporting. Our First-Hand Stories showcase personal experiences from internationals from different walks of life, sure to entertain, educate, and perhaps make you feel less alone.

With tags linking content on similar themes, the new design makes it easier to discover articles you’ll enjoy. Or you can search to explore the Last Week in Denmark archives. In addition to listing all of our reporters and columnists, each writer has their own page, allowing you to dig deeper into their work.

There are also some beautiful infographics accompanying the Last Week in Denmark story and presenting our impact.

It’s all part of our mission to empower internationals in Denmark through information — and make our website a go-to destination that complements the newsletter, podcast, and social media channels.

Thank yous

Together with Elitsa, developer Plamen Petkov worked tirelessly alongside the LWID team to bring our vision to life. The revamp would have been unthinkable without input from Ali Lewis and the rest of the team leads. Laura Matheson, who has project managed the LWID site, and Keith Machedo from our website team, have also been invaluable.

We also want to thank you, the readers, for all your feedback along the way! Particular gratitude goes to our early testers for being so generous with their time and opinions.

Let us know what you think

We hope you enjoy using the new site! And we’d love to hear your feedback on it. Contact us at info@lwid.dk if there’s anything you love or things you’d like to be a little different.

Pop the champagne! We’re celebrating the redesigned LWID website
