With a few exceptions, the speed limit in Paris has been reduced to 30 km/hour. Why? Increase traffic safety; more space for cyclists; reduce noise and contribute to climate protection. The mayor, Anne Hidalgo, wants to also remove 60,000 out of 140,000 parking spaces.
