A majority of political parties in the Danish Parliament (including the governing parties) have refused a proposal made by SF (Socialists) to offer 5,000 DKK inflation aid checks for young people.
- 30% of young people are struggling with their finances due to inflation – an increase of 20% compared to 2021.
- According to the social democrats, the more vulnerable groups of young people (those with disabilities or those who are single parents) will receive inflation aid. Also, the amount you can earn next to SU has increased by 4,000 DKK per month.
