Diesel cars older than 2009 are especially affected, as typically they don’t have a particle filter. In just six weeks, 4,812 fines were already given. The fine is 1,500 DKK. If you have one of these cars, you should retrofit a particle filter to meet the requirements. There are cameras installed that check your number plate to see if you respect the law, which automatically generate fines.
