The number of non-Danish ethnic (with both parents from immigrant backgrounds) members of the Parliament has dropped to only two (Samira Nawa from Radikale Venstre and Christina Olumeko from Alternativet). There is also Sólbjørg Jakobsen from Liberal Alliance (who was born in the Faroe Islands), but she refused to be seen as a non-Danish ethnic. There used to be five in 2019 (Fatma Øktem from Venstre, Samira Nawa from Radikale Venstre, Naser Khader from Konservative, Halime Oguz from SF, and Sikandar Siddique from Frie Grønne).
