Women receive on average 12.3% less in salary than men

according to figures from Statistics Denmark: The minister of Equality says that there is already legislation in place that should ensure that women and men receive the same pay and that the responsibility lies with the companies. A cultural change is needed in companies. 

  • The difference in wages between women and men has gradually reduced over the last 15 years (2008 – 15.6%)
