The government proposed to increase the diesel tax with 50 øre per liter. At the same time, the equalization tax (udligningsafgiften) that diesel car owners pay will be lowered. So it will be cheaper to have a car, but more expensive to fill the tank. The idea is still at the proposal level, and we don’t know when it will have an agreement in place.
