Ranked as the most important topic for voters, there is pressure on the candidates to promise higher salaries for nurses and find solutions to recruit more nurses right now. The Danish Nurse Council has asked for a 5.000 DKK/month raise.

- 2.442 nurses have resigned in the last year from the public healthcare system. That is 5,7% of all nurses.
