Former political leader of Konservative, Lars Barfoed joined Moderaterne

Former political leader, minister, and member of the Parliament; 48 years of membership, and it all ended when the Konservative party leadership decided to go against a ban on burning religious books in public spaces. Not the only reason, of course. He is concerned about the drift towards the right (closer to far-right than center) and that the party is slowly losing its core identity.
